| Under the framework of operational cooperation among Guangdong Meteorological Service, Hong Kong Observatory, and Macao Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau, the Weather Website for Greater Bay Area is developed and operated by the Hong Kong Observatory, providing weather information of more than 60 districts of 11 cities in the Guangdong, Hong Kong , Macao Greater Bay Area, which comprises the two Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macao, and the nine municipalities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and Zhaoqing, with a view to delivering convenient and reliable quality weather services for citizens who travel frequently around the area. The information on this website is provided by Guangdong Meteorological Service, Hong Kong Observatory, and Macao Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau. |
| This page is to provide the public with the latest weather information. Only limited quality control has been applied to the data. Lightning data is updated every 5 minutes. Observations on temperature, humidity, wind direction and wind speed are updated every 10 minutes. One-hour rainfall data is updated every 30 minutes. Despite of lightning data, the observation time will be displayed on pressing the data. Some of the data may be substituted by data of neighbouring district when the instrument is being repaired. Data update on this website may be deferred owing to transmission time. |
